CREATIVE.

THE DESIGNER.

Design was always my path. At a young age, I made dresses for MY SISTERS’ Barbie dolls out of toilet paper and my dad’s dress socks—That’s really where missing socks go. MY GRANDMOTHER TAUGHT ME TO SEW BY HAND, A SKILL THAT REMAINS A PASSION OF MINE TO THIS DAY.

From there, I began designing wedding dresses for family members even before they were engaged. In high school, my locker held a shrine to Gianni Versace. For prom, I looked to Tom Ford’s 1997 Gucci heroin-chic runway. While others wore ties and cummerbunds, I was in A sparkly sheer organza TEE (that I made myself) and black vinyl pants. IT WAS DEFINITELY A LOOK.

College is where I became enamored with the theatre of Galliano’s Dior and McQueen’s Givenchy. WITH MY LOVE FOR HAND SEWING, COUTURE BECAME MY ESCAPE. But it was in Calvin and Narciso that I found a true spark. TheY INSPIRED MY obsession with fabric and cut. Seams that had purpose. Form. Function. Flow. A BOOK ON HUMAN ANATOMY HAD ME IN A CHOKEHOLD AT THE TIME, SO the CONNECTION between fashion and form intrigued my young mind. MY COURSES IN INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE ALSO PROVED PIVOTAL IN MY APPRECIATION FOR THE BEAUTY OF BUILDING. MORE IMPORTANTLY, I LEARNED THE ROLE DESIGN PLAYS IN EVERYDAY LIFE.

MY EARLIER INFLUENCES WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN FORMING MY OWN CREATIVE VOICE. Minimal, yes. But meaningful. Fantasy in fabric and detail. Edited with surgical precision. softness that dances with the rigor of tailoring. Fabrics that transfix the mind. Shapes that inspire MUSINGS of architecture AND ENGINEERING. irresistible Color that pushes the limits of comfort. NOW WITH 19 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY, I HAVE ESTABLISHED A CLEAR POINT OF VIEW THAT ISN’T AFRAID OF EVOLUTION.

WITH THE COMPASS ALWAYS POINTED TOWARDS THE FUTURE, THE COURSE IS GUIDED BY KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE.
